Jeff Duda, President

Jeff worked in reforestation in the U.S. before attending college. He studied engineering at the Merchant Marine Academy and received a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Washington. Jeff has been involved in real estate and investment management in the U.S. for 20 years. He began investing in Panama in 2001. In addition to his work with Panama Teak Forestry, he runs Panama Casa, the country´s premier property management company.

Jack McCotter, Secretary

Jack has over 20 years of experience in the timber business in the U.S. He currently divides his time between Panama and Washington State, where he runs a successful business. Jack brings his extensive timber industry experience to locating and evaluating new properties for Panama Teak Forestry.

Grant Glessing, Treasurer

Grant graduated from Oregon State University with an honors degree in Forest Resources Management. Grant divides his time between Panama and British Columbia, where he manages over 200,000 hectares of reforested land for a private timber company.

Juan Carlos Perez Bernal, Forestry Manager

Juan Carlos oversees Panama Teak Forestry´s timber properties. He has a degree in agriculture and did internships in both Japan and the U.S. Before joining the Panama Teak Forestry team, Juan Carlos worked for Panama´s Department of Agriculture and also ran his own cattle business.

Salvatore Manetta, Board Member

Sal is a former corporate publications director with broad experience in program management and organizational structure. He has exceptional management skills. He is now retired and lives with his wife Jane full time in Panama, where he is overseeing pasture restoration on a 240-acre dairy farm that they own. Jay Trepanier, Board Member

With over 50 years of experience in the business world, Jay brings extensive knowledge of business structure and development to the Panama Teak Forestry board.
